My heart goes sad again once more

As I mourn the lost of another human life

One that was filled with memories

And smiles

That I was not related to, but

The news of her passing made me think of mine

Am I living?

I am trying

I would most say

I have dreamt for the most part

I admire her courage

I admire some of mine

We both left everything behind

To be far away of our home

And that is a lot

But she did more risky things

I just became a mother on foreign land

But we both missed

Things back home

I hope her passing brings some changes

For more adventurers keep going into the world

To see its beauty

That we are all the same and one.
