 Quase me deixei afogar

Nas mágoas do meu pesar

Será que eu sou quem sou?

Ou sou quem deveria estar

Do outro lado do rio?

Me espera um barqueiro

O nevoeiro não me deixa ver

Aonde chegarei

Mesmo assim entro no barco

Posso encontrar algumas tempestades no meu caminho

Mesmo que sozinho eu possa estar

Me sento na janela do meu temor

E olho para fora

Quem sabe eu possa me situar

De alguma maneira no meu abismo

O sol alguma hora vai aparecer

Brilhando no infinito

Do meu quase fim.

I guess my time has gone to different dimensions

My soul has been fragmented in thousand pieces.

 Can I go home now?

This place is suffocating me

Can I go where I can crumble my soul inside me?

Can I be left there for days until I can bloom again?

In a different form, different era?

I thought I had it all

I thought I could have made my mind stronger now

But I was just faking it

All the smile, all the laughter

I can't grasp it now

I thought I was going up

But now I am down

Such a cliché of life

I am just indifferent

Numb to it all

Just wanting to hide

Until the storm calms down.

As I stare into the abysm of my soul

I see a child with tears of gold

Holding her toy

Pleading and asking

To be seen, to be recognized

I see this kid

That I don't know how to comfort

Time have passed

Trees have grown

But the cried never stopped

Or the hole left in soul

Now surrounded of darkness

Trying to keep her little candle lit

She scrambles trough life

Fighting to exists

But her light is fading

And hope slowly dying

She is left of with the pieces

Of everything she had tried

Where is her destiny?

Where is her future?

The world around her is also being destroyed

And more...

She sees her, she sees it all

Even the golden tears

Lights out.
